This system doesn’t start at graduation. It starts much earlier. And it stays with students every step of the way.
The Grand Rapids Promise Zone Authority and Grand Rapids Chamber are launching a strategic partnership, Career Pathways, to expand access to high-quality career exploration, employer engagement, and workforce readiness resources for Promise Zone students.
The Grand Rapids Promise Zone Authority, Ferris State University and Grand Valley State University today announced a new partnership that will provide funding for Promise Zone students who graduate with an associate degree from Grand Rapids Community College to complete a bachelor’s degree from either university.
The 2025 graduates at Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) who’ve received support and funding from the Grand Rapids Promise Zone mark five academic years of the scholarship providing free education for all eligible Grand Rapids students.
